Thanks for visiting my website. I've tried to include a brief sampling of my skills as a 3D artist and a traditional illustrator. Please contact me if you would like more info.

For me, drawing is a natural response to words, music and my environment. My goal is to infuse my images with a sense of breath and imminent movement. Animation seemed the logical next step from conventional forms of illustration. So, after investigating the phenomenon of digital animation, I pursued a Masters degree in Digital Imaging & Design from NYU which I received in December 2002.

I bring a unique blend of talents to the 3D table: Traditional drawing and painting methods; fashion design; a wide range of training in movement including classical ballet, tai chi and African dance; and a passion for storytelling. All of these elements play important roles in my artwork.

I've concentrated on Maya but use 3D Max extensively, as well. Modeling (using primarily polygons) and character design are what I most enjoy. It's a hard choice, however, between modeling and texturing since lighting & texturing are essential to setting the tone and mood of any project. I have experimented with cloth simulation and would like to explore it, as well as other aspects of particles & dynamics, further.

I make it a point to learn whatever it takes to get the job done well and on time.
